STRUCTURE
The Livingstone College Chapter of Project 2019 consists of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Coordinator, Secretary, Mentors, and Mentees.
ACTIVITIES
The major activity of the Livingstone College Chapter is mentoring.
MENTORS
Responsibilities: Attend a one meeting Mentor Workshop; adopt at least one high school student of the corresponding grade level as a Mentee (i.e., a junior in college matches a junior in high school, etc.); submit bi-monthly status reports of their relationship and progress with Mentees; attend weekly "Brother to Brother" or "Sister to Sister" meetings with Mentees; support, encourage, and counsel Mentees in everything they do.
MENTEES
Expectations: Feel secure in confiding in their mentor; turn in grades for Grade Incentive Program; participate in all Project 2019 Chapter activities.
Additional Note
All Livingstone College Chapter Members and Mentees are required to read the book "Project 2019."
